As a Dynamics AX 2012 Functional Application Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing functional support for the ERP system within the global organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of Dynamics AX 2012 and related functional applications, acting as a key liaison between the business and stakeholders. You will execute support tasks, maintain system integrity, and align activities with organizational strategies and priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on support for Dynamics AX 2012 and associated functional applications.
* Understand, plan, and execute assigned tasks accurately to meet stakeholder needs within specified timelines.
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards and work procedures.
* Plan work effectively to allow for stakeholder feedback and adjustments to ensure intended functionality.
* Support users and resolve incidents promptly.
* Address design/configuration issues and oversee rollout projects.
* Collaborate with implementation partners to implement system improvements.
* Coordinate testing activities and provide guidance to employees during testing phases.
* Liaise with colleagues and provide advice on assigned business applications.
* Identify areas requiring detailed instructions and clarify as necessary to prevent misunderstandings.
* Proactively communicate potential issues and provide guidance to resolve them.
* Seek clarification or guidance when faced with difficulties and recommend alternative solutions.
Experience and Skills:
* Essential: Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 application.
* Preferred: Experience with financial and operational processes (F&O).
* 2-5 years of experience working with Dynamics AX 2012.
* Higher professional education, preferably in Finance or IT.
* General understanding of IT infrastructure and software development.
* Problem-solving attitude.
* Self-motivated to enhance competencies related to assigned tasks.
* Comfortable with delivering trainings, writing instructions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
* Ability to ensure solutions are communicated and documented clearly.
* Thoroughly test solutions prior to release for stakeholder use.
* Strong social skills and customer service focus.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
